• What is the most critical time in a child’s life? Research indicates the hours between 3 and 8 P.M. are the most dangerous time of day for young people. In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Since 1962, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley has provided the critical means for parents who live and work in and around Sonoma Valley to ensure their children engage in meaningful and constructive activities during the critical after school hours of 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and all day during the summer months and school holidays.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is a private, nonprofit organization providing over 2600 Sonoma Valley kids aged 6-18 years with educational, recreational, and leadership programs. The Club serves approximately 40% of the total youth population in Sonoma (ages 6-18) with attendance of 400 kids per day.

Our mission is to provide positive opportunities for youth to learn and succeed.
    Who does the Club Serve?
